About The Position

As a Senior Loan Operations Administrator, you’ll be a key player in managing the full lifecycle of commercial loan processing — from documentation and closing to disbursement and post-closing follow-up. You’ll work closely with lending officers, borrowers, and internal departments to ensure every loan is accurately documented, compliant, and efficiently executed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial lending operations or loan servicing
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan products, documentation, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the closing process for various loan types, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place
  • Resolve issues related to liens, judgments, title exceptions, insurance coverage, and other closing conditions
  • Disburse loan proceeds and confirm that all fees are collected at closing
  • Prepare and submit loan documentation request packages, including checklists and approval verification
  • Partner with specialized groups such as Real Estate Documentation, Income Property, and Asset-Based Lending to ensure completeness
  • Audit executed loan documents for accuracy and completeness, and manage waiver approvals for any deficiencies
  • Ensure insurance documentation meets bank standards and regulatory requirements
  • Track and monitor over-margin accounts to maintain proper collateral coverage
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date legal and shadow files in accordance with bank filing protocols
  • Ensure servicing requests such as advances, paydowns, and renewals are processed in a timely manner
  • Manage draw requests and covenant tracking to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Respond to inquiries from borrowers and internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers and Credit Officers
  • Prepare files for system boarding and follow up on outstanding post-closing items
  • Confirm receipt of original signed documents and resolve any exceptions
  • Conduct credit checks and research UCC filings to validate borrower creditworthiness and collateral positioning
  • Handle complex loan packages and assist in training junior team members to build operational excellence
