Procures and develops image-enhancing product that supports the company mission by locating manufacturers and negotiating prices, quantity, and specifications for the product, as well as for packaging and shipping attributes. Establishes and maintains vendor relations. Establishes and ensures quality assurance standards. Communicates with vendors concerning new and existing product. Continuously conducts in-depth analysis and evaluation of product performance to determine its future viability. Researches and identifies sales trends of products by attending trade shows, reviewing trade magazines, and collecting nostalgic information through antique malls and historical fact. Communicates with Retail Operations concerning pertinent product information to aid in maximizing sales potential. Provides the stores with accurate ordering and contact information for outside vendors. Responsibilities
