About The Position

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials to support production, inventory, and customer demand. This role ensures product availability while balancing cost, quality, and service level objectives across AdvoCare and A93 operations. This role collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders with Marketing, Quality, R&D, Accounting, Creative, Planning, Production, and supplier partners to support forecasting, new product introductions, and ongoing operations optimization.

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing or operations management.
• Experience in working in a manufacturing and environment and raw materials purchasing required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle, WMS systems, and data analysis tools.

Nice To Haves

• Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to meet company requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and service objectives.
• Evaluate supplier performance and support vendor scorecard initiatives.
• Serve as primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Create purchase orders (POs) to support forecasts and ensure timely delivery of inventory while maintaining company inventory targets.
• Support new product introductions and promotions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company documentation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
• Support all entities, including A93, for all duties related to role and as assigned.
