Purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that Outform Group’s production and operational needs are met; taking into consideration price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. The Buyer may take responsibility for specific projects, aspects of projects or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing responsibility. SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITY The Buyer is accountable for the end‑to‑end purchasing of goods, materials, and services required to support Outform Group’s production, project, and operational activities. This role has responsibility for managing assigned spend categories, suppliers, and inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply while achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy within defined purchasing policies and procedures and is expected to exercise sound judgment in supplier selection, negotiation, and issue resolution. The Buyer is accountable for maintaining accurate purchasing data, monitoring supplier performance, identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve value, efficiency, and reliability across the supply base. This role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to align purchasing activities with business requirements, project timelines, and customer commitments. The Senior Buyer is also responsible for proactively identifying opportunities for cost reduction, working capital optimization, and process improvement, while ensuring compliance with contractual, ethical, and regulatory standards.
