About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Buyer/Sr. Buyer to join our team. This role involves sourcing, purchasing, and expediting materials, components, and services required for the production of electromechanical products. The Buyer ensures timely delivery, cost competitiveness, quality compliance, and supplier performance while supporting production schedules and inventory goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. This is an onsite, full-time, Monday - Friday position, located in our Liberty Lake, WA facility.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment (for Buyer).
  • Total of five (5) years' experience of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment (for Sr. Buyer).
  • Experience assisting with supplier negotiations, including quote evaluation and communication of cost, delivery, and commercial terms.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Experience interpreting bills of materials, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Procure electromechanical components, raw materials, subassemblies, and indirect supplies in support of production and engineering requirements.
  • Issue purchase orders, manage order acknowledgments, and track deliveries to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times, terms, and contracts.
  • Monitor, evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage MRB (Material Review Board) and RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes, working directly with suppliers to investigate, resolve, and prevent recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supplier non-conformance and drive corrective actions
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Planning to resolve supply issues, substitutions, and design changes.
  • Analyze demand, inventory levels, and forecasts to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
  • Expedite critical orders and manage shortages or supply disruptions.
  • Ensure purchased materials meet quality, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives including alternate sourcing, value engineering, and supplier consolidation.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Assist with supplier audits, compliance documentation, and risk mitigation activities.
