Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement or buying roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Solid understanding of supply chain and purchasing principles.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and value.
- Negotiate contracts and build lasting vendor relationships.
- Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to guide purchasing decisions.
- Request and assess quotations, proposals, and bids.
- Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery.
- Collaborate across departments to meet business goals.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
