About The Position
As a Busperson at Harvest, you will be an essential part of a relaxed fine dining experience that features globally-inspired and American seasonal cuisine. In our inviting setting, you’ll enjoy the dynamic atmosphere created by our open kitchen, where contemporary, upscale culinary artistry comes to life before your eyes—like dinner with a show! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the entire restaurant, ensuring that the dining room, storerooms, food pickup area, and beverage station meet the highest cleanliness and stock standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding a pristine environment will not only enhance the overall guest experience but also support an efficient service team, allowing everyone to shine.
Requirements
- 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a busser or food runner
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
- Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
- Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
- Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
- Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
- Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
- Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
