About The Position

The Business Unit Controller, reporting to the CFO, is responsible for: Financial oversight, performance analysis, and strategic support of RTC’s proprietary product business (a/k/a the “Ready” business). This role combines traditional controllership responsibilities with forward-looking financial planning and analysis to drive profitability, reduce risk, and provide for informed business decisions. Several corporate/global level business planning and analysis responsibilities, including in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; cash flow planning and ad hoc analysis and presentations. This position partners closely with US Sales and Operations, Senior Leadership, and Regional Financial Managers to ensure financial integrity, actionable reporting, and data-driven insights that support revenue growth and margin improvement. The Business Unit Controller will demonstrate impeccable integrity, a high level of critical thinking, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide strong analytical skills, which will enable business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
Requisite technical skills, including sophisticated financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial systems/ERP platforms
Strong understanding of cost accounting in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
