About The Position

Join Vanguard’s Fintech team! This group provides complex analysis of business systems and user needs, ensuring alignment of the business technology strategy and leads system set-up, technical designs, and test planning for aligned business needs. This role has a strong focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes (financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across the enterprise), Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) administration and enhancements, and Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM) for cost allocation and profitability analysis. This position requires strong analytical skills, deep understanding of planning and cost management processes, and the ability to partner with Finance and Technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in business analysis or technology roles, with hands-on EPBCS and EPCM administration and process support.
  • Strong knowledge of EPBCS and EPCM configuration, calculation scripts, Smart View, and integration with ERP systems.
  • Intermediate technical skills in data analysis tools (ex., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, OAC).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
  • Growth-oriented, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM suite and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes FP&A and cost management business processes and user needs, documenting requirements for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability solutions.
  • Advises on the business implications of applying EPBCS and EPCM technology to the current environment.
  • Translates FP&A and cost allocation requirements into functional documentation for EPBCS and EPCM.
  • Defines system scope and objectives based on user needs and planning processes.
  • Directs FP&A and cost management process improvement initiatives, leveraging EPBCS and EPCM capabilities to optimize planning cycles, driver-based models, scenario planning, and profitability analysis.
  • Leads EPBCS and EPCM configuration and enhancements, including business rules, forms, dashboards, and security.
  • Identifies system constraints and provides recommendations to resolve business issues.
  • Develops and executes test plans for EPBCS and EPCM changes and integrations.
  • Ensures successful deployment and alignment with FP&A objectives.
  • Performs user support activities for EPBCS, EPCM, and related EPM modules.
  • Leads documentation and maintenance of functional requirements and metadata.
  • Guides and advises less experienced team members on EPBCS and EPCM best practices.
  • Participates in automation and integration projects across EPM platforms.
  • Collaborates with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to align EPBCS and EPCM capabilities with business needs.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
