Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • 5-8 years of business analysis experience in Shared Services, Finance applications support.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Experience with financial accounting, JE processing, month-end closing processes, general ledger, planning, and tax.
  • Exposure to medium/high complexity transformation projects.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Workday, SAP BPC, Microsoft BI, PowerPivot, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with structured approaches to complex issues.
  • Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders (Finance Operations, Business Process Owners, Sysco Technology, Sales, Security, Compliance) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Finance initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops to validate requirements, assess impacts, and shape future-state processes.
  • Identify interdependencies between functional areas and ensure alignment across workstreams.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and clarity.
  • Produce detailed documentation, including process maps, flow diagrams, BRDs, functional designs, SOPs, test scenarios, and configuration specifications.
  • Break down complex systems into manageable components to support effective change management.
  • Support Change Management efforts by documenting and communicating future-state procedures.
  • Lead and execute testing cycles across Finance Applications (Workday, SAP BPC, Microsoft BI)
  • Validate data flow, integration, and system configuration to ensure end-to-end consistency and accuracy.
  • Actively participate in hands-on testing and support business testers during UAT cycles.
  • Create, track, and manage JIRA or ServiceNow tickets for defects, enhancements, and user stories.
  • Support transformation initiatives, prioritization, change management, and road mapping.
  • Prepare weekly project updates, dashboards, and operational reports for finance leadership.
  • Deliver monthly metrics for key performance indicators.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Recommend enhancements to system configuration, workflows, and process automation.
