Business Systems Specialist
About The Position
Business Systems Specialists are expected to provide technical and administrative direct support for personnel performing software development tasks including the review of work product for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules. They will also support the analysis, design, development and implementation of systems and technologies and develop detailed documentation and specifications to design and procure business tools for specific analytical needs. Finally, they will assist with the review and analysis of customer requirements or problems and the development of business system tools while also acting as a technology resource in direct support of a larger project through combining a basic knowledge of the consulting project combined with technology expertise.
Requirements
- At least four years of relevant work experience and hold a bachelor’s degree
- Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders and creating technical roadmaps used to drive development
- Proven experience planning, developing, and implementing solutions using multiple of the following platforms/tools: ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian, Power Platforms / PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Automation Anywhere, and UiPath
- Experience automating data flow between systems and/or business tools
- Experience streamlining business functions and processes with electronic forms, workflows, reviews, and approvals
Nice To Haves
- Experience developing technical solutions for federal clients
- Experience with the HHS EPLC framework
- Experience implementing AI solutions into business processes / tools
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification
- Experience utilizing JIRA
- Advanced Microsoft SharePoint development expertise
