About the Role As Business Systems Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our enterprise systems operate efficiently and effectively. You'll lead and mentor the Systems Analyst team, oversee the configuration and optimization of key software, and collaborate with IT, business units, and external vendors to create streamlined, high-performing processes that align with KCU's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in business systems, systems analysis, or application management-experience in financial services, especially credit unions or banking, is a plus.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Expertise with core processing systems (Fiserv DNA preferred), digital banking platforms, and loan origination systems.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver technology solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders alike.

Nice To Haves

  • experience in financial services, especially credit unions or banking, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the Systems Analyst team, fostering professional growth while driving organizational objectives.
  • Manage the implementation, configuration, and upgrades of enterprise applications, including our core banking system (Fiserv DNA), digital banking platforms (Q2), loan origination system (MeridianLink), and other essential tools.
  • Ensure systems operate smoothly, remain compliant, and deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into technical solutions that support strategic priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex system issues and collaborate with vendors on troubleshooting and enhancements.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring initiatives are completed successfully.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and change management processes.
  • Ensure all systems adhere to regulatory, security, and audit standards.
