About The Position

In this role, you will be the primary systems manager for various platforms, ensuring that the technology aligns effectively with business strategies. You will assess business needs from stakeholders, manage product requirements, and create workable solutions to enhance business and user value. Your contribution will be vital in system design documentation and in facilitating the rollout of new features and enhancements.

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong background in IT with knowledge of banking operations and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to conduct research on systems issues and products.
  • Capable of communicating technical ideas understandably.
  • Highly motivated with strong critical thinking ability.
  • Proven skills in task prioritization in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in collaborative and customer-oriented settings.
  • Familiarity with corporate security policies and user access management.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for new features and systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Identify business, financial, and operational requirements with decision makers and end users.
  • Serve as the technical contact during presentations to the Application and Architecture Review Board.
  • Assist in design sessions, creating prototypes to enhance processes and workflows.
  • Maintain design documentation including data flow diagrams and workflows.
  • Conduct systems analysis focusing on identifying gaps.
  • Improve operational workflows through modifications and enhancements.
  • Identify control points in new designs and ensure working environments are well-managed.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing systems and strategize improvements.
  • Ensure support structures and responsibilities are defined prior to production readiness.
  • Perform troubleshooting as needed, aligning with the Problem and Incident Troubleshooting process.
  • Represent production changes in Change Control Board meetings.
  • Lead system and unit testing for new and modified systems.
  • Assist in needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align technology with strategies.
