About The Position

Janitza North America LP is the US based arm of Janitza electronics GmbH, a leading German manufacturer of electrical power monitoring hardware and software. A family-owned business, we make hardware and software to measure and analyze power quality measures for our data center and industrial manufacturing customers. With our tools, companies can take action to reduce energy costs, improve uptime, and decrease their carbon footprint. The Business Analyst serves as the primary liaison between Janitza's U.S. business teams and the global IT/BA/PMT teams in Germany, ensuring that local requirements are understood, prioritized, and integrated into global enterprise systems. This position combines business process ownership, system optimization, and cross ‑ functional project leadership. As we enter our next phase of growth, the role will increasingly focus on automation, digital enablement, Salesforce redesign, and exploring AI ‑ enabled tools to help our teams work smarter. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Analyst will join our team in Ashburn, VA. You have great experience and knowledge in process management, with direct working knowledge and experience in SAP and Salesforce. You have great communication skills, you are very team oriented, and you are also very self-reliant with a structured way of working and accomplishing tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management, information systems, or comparable experience.
  • Practical experience with SAP and Salesforce, including process development and/or implementation.
  • Experience leading or supporting cross‑functional IT or business system projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working with diverse teams, including international or cross‑cultural groups.
  • High degree of ownership, structure, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Ownership & Optimization Manage activities related to the recording, analysis, and optimization of business processes.
  • Serve as the main U.S. contact for all departments on business processes, methods, and tools (PMT).
  • Develop expert‑level knowledge of core processes and system workflows.
  • Act as consultant, method expert, coach, and sparring partner for process owners.
  • Create clear process flows, documentation, and training materials.
  • Support internal process and system audit activities.
  • Enterprise Systems Management Act as the U.S. liaison to global PMT/BA/IT teams for SAP, SAC, Salesforce, and related tools.
  • Coordinate system enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and user feedback loops.
  • Support continuous maintenance and improvement of existing systems.
  • Ensure enterprise systems meet U.S. operational requirements.
  • Strategic Projects Lead U.S. support for the redesign and implementation of Salesforce in partnership with global PMT and external consultants.
  • Support SAP optimization efforts across modules used in North America.
  • Explore and help implement automation and AI‑enabled tools.
  • Drive adoption and training initiatives for all business systems.
  • Support roadmap initiatives that enhance data visibility, reporting, and process efficiency.
  • Training & Change Management Plan and deliver training sessions, workshops, and documentation to support user adoption.
  • Help teams navigate new processes, system changes, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaboration Work closely with U.S. business units (Sales, Operations, Finance, Service, HR) to understand needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with global PMT and IT teams in Germany to align local and global priorities.
