About The Position

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the owner of our application landscape and the primary liaison between our manufacturing operations and our technology partners. This is not a traditional IT helpdesk role. We utilize an outsourced Managed Service Provider (MSP) for all hardware, network, and server maintenance. Your mandate is to master our "best-of-breed" software stack, ensure data integrity across manufacturing and finance, and eventually lead our migration to an enterprise ERP. You will be the translator between the production floor and our digital systems, ensuring our technology drives efficiency, not friction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Operations Analysis, or IT Management, preferably within a Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, or Supply Chain environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required. Must be proficient with Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, or WMS platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Parity, MiSys) is strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of SQL or database logic is a plus.
  • Understanding of manufacturing workflows, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Lot Traceability, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and non-technical staff. Comfortable working on the production floor to troubleshoot process issues directly with operators.

Responsibilities

  • Application Management & Ownership: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) and administrator for our core software application stack including the following types of systems: WMS, MRP, CMMS and QMS.
  • Manage user access, configuration, and workflows within these applications to match operational reality.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Monitor daily data synchronization between operational systems (WMS/MRP) and financial system.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve inventory discrepancies and variance issues between physical stock and digital records.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based dashboards (using Power Query/Pivot Tables) to track KPIs such as yield loss, OEE, and production costs.
  • Vendor Management (MSP Liaison): Act as the primary point of contact for our outsourced IT firm, translating business requirements into technical tickets.
  • Prioritize and manage the flow of support requests, ensuring critical plant-floor hardware (scanners, label printers, HMIs) maintains high uptime.
  • Process Improvement & Future ERP Migration: Map current-state workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify inefficiencies.
  • Lead data cleansing initiatives (cleaning Item Masters, BOMs, and Vendor lists) to prepare for future system upgrades.
  • Play a lead role in the future selection, design, and implementation of an advanced ERP, acting as the internal project manager for the transition.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental & Vision insurance (company-subsidized)
  • Company-paid Basic Life Insurance, STD& LTD
  • 401(k) with 6% company match
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) & paid holidays
