About The Position

This position is Exempt from the Human Resources Act (EHRA) with the exception of Articles 6 and 7. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with applicable State Benefits. This position designs, examines, analyzes, develops, implements, administers, and monitors business and program processes, operation systems, and efficient business and financial systems that supports of the Office of Continuous Improvement for the Division of Water Infrastructure (OCI-DWI) Process Engineering Unit. The position evaluates business and program application systems, such as SAP/EBS, Laserfiche, and DWI specific programs to complete data analysis, identify gaps and determine solutions to improve OCI-DWI specific business operations. This position designs business and program systems solutions by identifying and evaluating options, resolving solution issues, serving as a liaison between the OCI-DWI business and the OCI-DWI project teams to improve productivity, and developing and delivering training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from appropriately accredited institution in a discipline related to the area of assignment with two years of programmatic experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research and review up-to-date OCI/DWI business process and develop solutions.
  • Research, design, implement, and manage database solutions for the OCI/DWI Process Engineering Unit.
  • Evaluate OCI/DWI workflow processes, construct workflow diagrams and flowcharts to identify OCI/DWI business process solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Manage expectations in an environment of change providing realistic project completion timelines, milestones while identifying necessary staffing and resources.
  • Develop project proposals, identifying project goals, necessary resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide complete project coordination, support and management for special assigned projects that may relate to a range of OCI/DWI programs or processes.
