Business Systems Analyst I
About The Position
Avantor is looking for a Business Systems Analyst I to join our team! This role may be based onsite at one of the following locations: Devens, MA, Valencia, CA, or Barrington, IL. The Analyst I collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and drive process improvement initiatives across the Avantor Fluid Handling organization. This role supports ERP initiatives through process enhancements, system improvements, and active participation in the evolving Center of Excellence (CoE) across the Avantor Fluid Handling and Masterflex organizations, while operating with moderate autonomy and alignment to Avantor iCARE values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience, education and training
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting ERP or enterprise business systems
- Open to supporting complex org structures (e.g., hierarchical, functional, matrix)
- Eager to gain proficiency with client management, resolving internal customer needs and providing recommended solutions
- ERP or enterprise systems experience (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Workday, Exact)

- Ability to balance hands on technical and social aptitude working with multi-tiered stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Business support partner for the Epicor ERP system, ensuring collaborative, efficient use within the system.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epicor ERP configurations, reporting solutions, and system enhancements.
- Support day-to-day Epicor ERP operations, including troubleshooting system issues, resolving cross-functional data discrepancies, and coordinating fixes with IT or technical teams as needed.
- Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of Epicor system updates, enhancements, and process changes.
- Embody ABS methodologies to troubleshoot in collaboration with internal teams (IT, Business Intelligence) and external teams (vendor partners, project/program consultants).
- Deliver training and development updates to end users via online learning center, Viva Engage and email.
- Fulfill project resource/coordination support when needed.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
