Job Description: Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or for a complete line of business that may be regional or national in scope, often requiring associates in one or more location. Functions managed may include: LOB issues management, business control routines, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business units functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. The Business Support Manager within Asset Based Finance will lead the development, improvement and execution of processes in support of key objectives with a focus on the Dealer Financial Services segment. Ensures full integration of governance routines required by policy through analysis and execution of effective reporting. Will assist in the development of solutions designed to optimize performance through gap analysis action planning. Works directly with key partners to understand existing procedure and ensure adherence by responsible employees. Ensures full integration through effective reporting and scorecard metrics to determine adoption and compliance. Manages a portfolio of audit issues and control enhancements impacting the organization based on identification via internal Risk, Compliance or Audit channels. Responsible for monitoring and reporting process performance metrics for assigned processes and/or control routines. Works closely with managers and executives to evaluate current methods and assists in developing strategies to implement changes and improvements related to production and capacity management.
