About The Position

The HIS (Health Information Services) Business Analyst is responsible for evaluation, discovery, analysis, and documentation of business requirements and leading projects improving daily operations and advancing initiatives. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting information to develop business requirements, developing project documentation, coordinating project activities, and developing and fostering collaborative partnerships to improve services and achieve operational goals. Provides training and develops materials. Responsible for owning lower complexity issues and acting as a liaison between customers, IS, and staff to understand business needs, resolve issues, and implement change. Requires excellent interpersonal and strong written and verbal communication skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships as well as a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships.
