About The Position

Business Solutions Leader - Columbia, SC (Hybrid) The Business Solutions Leader partners with associations to leverage AgFirst's technology platform, creating solutions that streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk. What You'll Do: Serve as a technology partner to associations, helping them leverage AgFirst platforms and services to meet business needs. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk through effective use of technology. Negotiate service arrangements and provide consulting, development, and coordination with technical teams. Communicate with all levels of association management to understand and address business requirements. Provide architecture and design input to development teams; create detailed diagrams aligned with standards. Act as an AgFirst representative to promote technical platforms and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to apply and enhance architecture standards. Research emerging technologies, build proofs-of-concept, and develop guidance for developers. Document and communicate technical solutions; assist teams in presenting to the Architecture Review Board. Occasionally present technical strategies and updates to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, security, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
  • Advanced skills with middleware (Message Queues, API management), SQL, and development tools (e.g., Visual Studio).
  • Strong understanding of business and process analysis concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with all levels of management.
  • Ability to create structured design and architecture diagrams.

  • Experience with mobile development libraries and low-code platforms.
