About The Position

The organization's risk management structure is designed to promote effective governance and risk management that is systematic, transparent, credible, timely, and verifiable through clear delineation and execution of key roles and responsibilities. Its goal is to assess and/or manage risks that may impact the company, including credit, financial, liquidity, market, operational, reputational, strategic, and other risks as appropriate. The Business Risk Professional will partner with their assigned Line of Business, other Business Risk Professionals, and Business Risk Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. This role may participate in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. They may identify gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. They may actively identify, respond and/or escalate risks as appropriate. They may inform policies and procedures in an effort to maximize profit potential and minimize regulatory exposure. They may serve as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven to 10 years of applicable experience
  • Applicable professional certification

Nice To Haves

  • Design, build, script, test, implement, maintain, and enhance automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases; define test data needs across systems and coordinate acquisition/creation of required data.
  • Create and execute performance testing to confirm expected automation performance and stability.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues; may lead problem-solving efforts for assigned solutions.
  • Produce clear documentation describing solution capabilities, controls, and operating procedures.
  • Estimate effort, timelines, and project tasks; analyze and communicate cost and time impacts.
  • Assess business needs and participate in feasibility evaluations for new automation opportunities; recommend the best approach and implementation path.
  • Create and maintain required reporting and dashboards to support program and management reporting.
  • Create, enhance, and support utilities and tools required to operate and sustain the program.
  • Produce and maintain Model Risk automated testing and reporting solutions.
  • Provide ESS CoE procedural and mechanical support by building and sustaining applications and workflows.
  • Manage TSAU data through reporting statistics, querying, and creation/maintenance of tools that improve data quality and usability.
  • Create and support utilities aligned to the control frameworks for EFCC and the Model Risk Framework.
