Business/Revenue Operations Analyst

MetriportSan Francisco, CA

About The Position

Metriport is an open-source data intelligence platform that helps healthcare organizations access and exchange patient data in real-time. They integrate with all major US healthcare IT systems and tap into comprehensive medical data for 300+ million individuals. The company has achieved product-market fit with multi-million ARR, over 100 customers (including Amazon One Medical, Strive Health, Circle Medical, and Brightside Health), backing from top VCs, and years of runway. Metriport is a tight-knit, high-performing team, mostly composed of former founders (including two YC alumni), with an engineering-heavy focus, minimal bureaucracy, and high autonomy. They hire based on competence and are committed to sustainable intensity, measuring output while giving everyone freedom to craft their schedule. This role is not a standard FP&A position. As the first dedicated Finance hire on the BizOps team, you will manage the entire financial stack end-to-end. This includes being responsible for the integrity of the books, the efficiency of revenue collection, and the automation of internal financial operations. The ideal candidate is a 'Swiss Army Knife' who can lead a board-level financial review in the morning and troubleshoot a HubSpot-to-Stripe sync in the afternoon, thriving without 'perfect information' and considering no task 'beneath' their background.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Investment Banking, MBB Consulting, or a high-growth startup (Seed to Series B).
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Powerpoint skills that can distill complex data into clear narratives.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to drive projects to completion without a playbook.
  • Based in San Francisco (or willing to relocate) with a 5-day-a-week in-office presence.
  • Low ego, high ownership. You ask 'Why can't this be done in 3 days?' instead of 3 weeks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience automating workflows via Zapier or Python script.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Brex or Ramp, Stripe, and CRMs.
  • Experience in the Healthcare IT or Healthtech space.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of banking, invoicing, bookkeeping, and FP&A.
  • Own month-end and year-end close, ensuring books are pristine by the 15th of each month.
  • Heavily support the Sales team by driving RevOps efforts and integrating systems (e.g., HubSpot to Stripe, Stripe to QuickBooks).
  • Track and improve our collections rate, budget vs. actuals (BVA), and departmental purchase request turnaround.
  • Serve as the professional face of Metriport to accountants, investors, vendors, and customers.
