About The Position

We’re seeking an analytically driven Business Reporting Analyst to join our Operational Effectiveness and Delivery (OED) team within the Group Protection business. As part of OED, you’ll play a critical role in advancing operational performance through data-driven reporting and actionable insights. Our team is growing to meet increasing demand for data sights that support efficiency, capacity planning, and service excellence. In this role, you will maintain operational reports for the STD & Absence Organization, enabling leaders to monitor productivity, manage capacity, and uphold service levels. You’ll also support the identification of trends and opportunities that inform strategic decisions and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proficient reporting skills – ability to maintain and support reports through tools like Excel and Tableau.
  • Experience with operational metrics and performance analysis.
  • Ability to translate data – can identify trends and presenting findings business partners.
  • Basic knowledge of the claim adjudication process within the Group Protection business.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SystemOne, DocsNet, and LAMs.
  • Knowledge of automation or advanced data visualization techniques to enhance reporting process and insights.
  • Continuous improvement mindset – ability to identify reporting gaps and recommend efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain routine operational reporting and dashboards for the STD & Absence Organization.
  • Support analysis and on turnaround times, customer experience, and service-level performance.
  • Distribute performance scorecards and reporting packages for leadership and operational teams to monitor results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners.
