About The Position

Under limited supervision, define and clearly articulate requirements (user stories) and acceptance criteria (user cases). The Business Product Analyst III will work with our Business Partners to understand available applications and services and will assist the business in defining the FedEx Returns Technology Program Capabilities, Features, Objectives, and User Stories. The Business Product Analyst III would work with business partners and IT staff to gather and document requirements from multiple sources in compliance with SAFe and independently sort medium- to high-complexity business issues and recommend appropriate direction. The Analyst would analyze business processes, associate them with software capabilities, and develop and maintain business models that reflect current processes and business rules. The Returns Technology Platform is a top FedEx priority and a core enabler of eCommerce, retail, and global returns initiatives. Returns currently represent approximately $1.5B in annual revenue, with strong year-over-year growth projected. The platform supports major programs, including FedEx Easy Returns, Canada Returns, Global Returns, and Amazon Consolidated Returns, all of which are dependent on the successful execution of Returns Technology 2.0. This Product Owner role functions as the single point of accountability for translating business strategy into executable product work. Without a dedicated Product Owner–level analyst, the platform risks delivery delays, misaligned priorities, increased rework, and potential revenue loss during a critical launch and migration period.
