About The Position

As a Business Process Analyst, you will be part of the Interconnection Services team performing analysis and providing insights leveraging process data to support continuous improvement efforts. This role will be engaged in process improvement and value realization measurement, including KPI / metric development and monitoring in collaboration with business partners. The role will work closely with business partners to understand KPIs and the supporting frameworks for the purposes of sustainability. NOTE: This is on onsite position reporting 5 days in office at our New Albany, OH

Requirements

  • Business Process Analyst(SG-6) Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Four (4) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
  • OR Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Six (6) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
  • Business Process Analyst Sr(SG-7) Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
  • OR Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Power Apps, PowerBI, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of AEP management.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy
  • Participate in establishing a healthy culture of continuous Process Improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Auditing experience and Primavera (P6) knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect organizational feedback and file process documentation in an organized and repeatable fashion.
  • Map out proposed processes with a broad and high-level outlook over the entire organization.
  • Drive and implement designed process workflows using process data in collaboration with business partners.
  • In collaboration with the business unit, define and monitor performance metrics (Key Performance Indicators) to measure process improvement effectiveness.
  • Develop and conduct employee training sessions that will train employees on process change, roles and responsibilities, and system standards and requirements.
  • Evaluate real and potential risks to projects or process implementation.
  • Develop reports and presentations for higher level management.
  • Help coach and develop lower-level team members to improve their skill level and achieve goals.
