About The Position

The Transmission Business Analyst Sr will provide business support services, including SharePoint development, content management, data analytics, and metrics development. This role will be involved in continuous process enhancements and effective initiative implementation. The Transmission Business Analyst Sr works independently on tasks of moderate to difficult complexity and collaborates with all organizational levels to optimize efficiency and tackle challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Business Process, Business, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience as defined below, OR Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience as defined below. OR High school diploma or GED with 8 years of relevant experience as defined below.
  • Experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization, from subject matter experts to executives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of ethical behavior and support for the Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy.
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) and on-call assignments are required for this position, necessitating flexibility in scheduling and availability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SharePoint and Power BI is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SharePoint and content management solutions, along with data analytics reporting and metrics tailored to business unit needs.
  • Create process workflows and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and execution of communication notifications for major events, and coordinate follow-up reporting to evaluate outcomes and inform future strategies.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of organizational projects by analyzing data, identifying risks, and facilitating communication across teams to support timely and goal-oriented delivery.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement efforts within assigned organizations and across AEP as opportunities arise.
  • Collaborate with business units to establish business continuity plans, assist with internal audits, and manage access permissions for relevant tools.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process improvement effectiveness while mapping high-level organizational processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Conduct event and HP investigations for System events.
