About The Position

Business Operations Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Business Operations Specialist to join our 777/777X/Everett Site – Business Operations team in Everett, WA In this role, you will be responsible for leading directives involving the expansion of 777 production for all derivatives and integrating across the Everett site. The Business Operations Specialist will be reporting out to the Vice President and executive leadership and representing the program to internal and external stakeholders; solving unusually complex business problems; developing precedent-setting solutions; and translating strategy into executable plans. This role delivers system-level thinking, advanced business analysis, process design, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate organizational performance and realize measurable business benefits. Our team is currently hiring Lead (Level 5) Business Operations Specialist.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 10+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • 10+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • 10+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders
  • 10 + years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

  • 10+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with program oversight & metrics reporting
  • Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, on airplane programs or supporting the production system
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives and deploy impact analyses.
  • Coordinates and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership.
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval.
  • Provides implementation direction for work authorization.
  • Facilitates the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices.
  • Develops and maintains visibility system in support of the architecture.
  • Utilizes the management systems and processes to provide status information on commitments and compliance to plan.
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
  • Represents executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction.
  • Assists in task management and provides expert business advice to enable a more efficient use of executive resources.
