About The Position

Business Operations Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Business Operations Advisor to join our BCA Everett Delivery Center Business Operations team in Everett, WA. The Senior Business Operations Advisor to the Vice President will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, representing the VP to internal and external stakeholders; solving unusually complex business problems; developing precedent-setting solutions; and translating strategy into executable plans. This role delivers systems-level thinking, advanced business analysis, process design, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate organizational performance and realize measurable business benefits. Our team is currently looking to hire a Senior (Level 4) or Lead (Level 5) Senior Business Operations Advisor.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • 7+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • 7+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders
  • 7 + years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

Nice To Haves

  • Level 5: 10+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 10+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 10+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with program oversight & metrics reporting
  • Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, on airplane programs or supporting the production system
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Represent executive management externally and internally to communicate policy, strategy, and direction.
  • Serve as the VP’s principal consultant and external spokesperson on high-impact matters.
  • Lead development of inventive solutions to complex, ambiguous problems; set precedent for future decisions.
  • Apply systems thinking to analyze interdependencies, anticipate impacts, and accelerate performance.
  • Design, document, and optimize end-to-end processes; organize people and tasks for efficient workflow and integration.
  • Conduct thorough business analysis: requirements definition, process review, data validation, and specification development.
  • Build and quantify business cases; identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
  • Select appropriate delivery approaches (predictive or adaptive/agile) and create acceptance criteria for system deployments.
  • Present recommendations and plans to executive leadership; provide implementation direction and oversight.
  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders; mentor and guide teams as needed.
