Summary of Role: The GlobalFoundries T&I team is seeking a project management intern for the summer of 2026 to assist and drive projects for Business Operations within the Technology and Innovation Division (R&D). This position would be located in our Austin, TX location.

Requirements

  • Education - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's, in Business or Engineering with Business Minor or Project Management or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Business Acumen

Responsibilities

  • Assist and drive Projects associated with our Technology and Innovation division (R&D).
  • Assist in Budget and financial research/Monthly forecast & actual readouts to assist the team in meeting their Operational and Capital Expense Plans.
  • Assist and drive Projects associated with our Technology and Innovation division (R&D).
  • Lead financial analysis, review business cases, drive project management and create presentations.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
