About The Position

The Business Operations Coordinator supports the data center (DC) team by executing operational processes and assisting with daily management tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery and exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Business Operations Supervisor, the coordinator works closely with Business Operations Generalists, master schedulers, and project managers to help maintain smooth operations, accurate records, and compliance with Carrier policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in scheduling, operations, or project coordination; Associates Degree with 4+ years’ of experience in scheduling, operations, or project coordination or a High School Diploma or GED and 6+ years’ experience in scheduling, operations, or project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of cases and jobs, and help with work order dispatching in coordination with the team and supervisor.
  • Support adherence to project schedules and participate in tracking progress and completion of tasks.
  • Help ensure accurate purchasing, Procard usage, parts ordering, goods receipt, and invoice processing following Carrier standard work and policies.
  • Maintain financial documentation, including cost syncing, clearing accounts, Procard matching, and cost transfers under supervisor guidance.
  • Assist with submitting and managing credit requests, invoice cancellations, proforma requests, and taxable VISA reconciliation.
  • Support the billing process, including invoicing completed billable jobs and claiming warranty jobs.
  • Participate in compliance activities related to COI, safety requirements, internal/external audits, revenue-driven controls, and internal policies.
  • Follow procedures for scrap metals and other regulated materials as directed by the supervisor.
  • Contribute to the team's adherence to standard work, operational cadence, and daily management KPIs.
  • Assist in project reviews and collaborate with project managers, generalists, and master schedulers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide backup support for the master scheduler as needed.
  • Help manage the team’s schedules and ensure continuous support to DC customers.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report trends, risks, and areas for improvement to the supervisor.
