About The Position

A Business Operations Associate provides comprehensive business operations, reporting, planning, and vendor-relationship support across the segment/division. Responsibilities include strategic planning coordination, project support, premium and commission reporting, audits, data analysis, Salesforce (SFDC) management, marketing support, and cross-functional partnership engagement. The position works closely with leadership, internal stakeholders, external carriers, brokers, and vendors to ensure accurate operations, high-quality reporting, and effective business execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
  • 0-2 years of experience in related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field.

  • Ability to obtain NC Health License within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Business Planning Support development of strategic goals and annual operating plans.
  • Coordinate and facilitate departmental summits, all-hands meetings, leadership sessions, and staff meetings.
  • Assist with workforce planning, staffing models, and monitoring hires aligned to budget and strategic-plan competencies.
  • Support creation, communication, and adoption of departmental SOPs.
  • Contribute to change-management efforts tied to business and process improvements.
  • Manage special projects assigned by leadership, including cost-reduction analyses or efficiency assessments.
  • Review industry trends and brief leadership on emerging issues.
  • Support evaluation of best- and next-practice opportunities for potential adoption.
  • Serve as point of contact for consultants and external entities on data, research, or project needs.
  • Track initiative progress and develop executive-ready presentations for ILT and senior leaders.
  • Support BQ code releases and related project deliverables.
  • Handle ad-hoc research, data lookups, spreadsheet analysis, and operational tasks defined by leaders.
  • Consolidate and standardize analytical reporting across the business.
  • Conduct departmental budget monitoring, forecast tracking, and administrative cost-reduction analysis.
  • Track KPI progress and operational performance metrics.
  • Pull and prepare reports from Salesforce (SFDC) as requested.
  • Perform SFDC cleanup, error correction, and daily data-quality work.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to support Sales and leadership.
  • Conduct Sales / Inspirato backend reporting and analytics.
  • Support incentive-run review activities as needed.
  • Complete Monthly Premium Reporting, including premium loading and reconciliation.
  • Perform Monthly Commissions Audits for Mosaic partners.
  • Conduct New Business (NB) audits to ensure Mosaic is properly tied to accounts.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies such as missing groups or premiums; work directly with carriers for resolution.
  • Review and process error reports (e.g., Tax ID issues, premium exceptions, monthly premium variances).
  • Serve as first-level service support for Mosaic partners, ACS, Dental, and Vision.
  • Lead vendor calls regarding outstanding cases, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Manage the Mosaic Box, ensuring timely routing, follow-up, and closure of inquiries.
  • Provide vendor support by investigating issues and driving strong partner relationships.
  • Support continuous assessment of carrier, competitor, and market-related initiatives.
  • Join leadership in internal and external partner meetings; document discussion points and drive follow-up.
  • Contribute to Annual Report inputs, CEO/Board reports, and other executive communications.
  • Support leadership’s public speaking engagements and industry board/committee participation.
  • Cross-trained across premium reporting, commissions audits, and NB audits.
  • Perform additional duties or operational support tasks as assigned by leadership.
