Business Office Manager/ Billing Liaison

Requirements
- At least 1 year of business office or collections experience (healthcare setting preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and Hospice billing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills and a solutions-focused mindset
Nice To Haves
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable is a plus
- Familiarity with PointClickCare is preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage facility collections, including private pay, copays, and share of cost
- Work directly with residents and families to collect payments and answer billing questions
- Set up and monitor payment plans when needed
- Ensure insurance information is accurate and updated in a timely manner
- Support new admissions by verifying insurance coverage and eligibility
- Communicate clearly about billing timelines to avoid surprises for residents
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records
