Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical business office setting is preferred.
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Ability to adapt and float between various positions within the business office.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling: Efficiently manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring a seamless and organized schedule.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information to facilitate accurate billing and streamline the admission process.
- Front Desk Operations: Provide excellent customer service at the front desk, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Payment Posting: Accurately record and post payments received from patients, maintaining precise financial records.
- Medical Records: Assist in organizing and maintaining medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
