SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Bacon business unit management team in delivering against business unit goals and primarily focused on delivering profit and volume. Requires work in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting managers in various projects for the management team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory and new product development Marketing budget and analysis Ad Hoc Reporting REQUIREMENTS: Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university. Must have at least one year- of school remaining. Pursuing a degree in Poultry Science, Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain is preferred. Availability: 15-20 hours a week required during the school year. Full time during the summers. Experience: Previous work experience of any kind is preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: A successful candidate for an intern position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills Time management and multi-tasking abilities Strong interpersonal skills.
