About The Position

Under general supervision, provides administrative support to the Morenci Recreation Center management and staff. Provide marketing initiatives and logistics support for Recreation Center events as needed Develop and coordinate internal staff and member program communications, such as morencitown.com, website management, Facebook page, etc. Assist in trending and reporting activities as requested including generating and analyzing reports in regards to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Morenci Recreation Center Interpret established policy and provide information for the resolution of problems and coordinate compliance training requirements Assist with the purchasing of program and facility supplies within the planned budget Coordinate and prepare a wide variety of financial and operational reports including the collection and presentation of budget data Maintain agreements with vendors including contract management, building services, and facility management May act as Supervisor to include managing the facility while the Supervisor Recreation Center is out Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a Business/Office Manager role
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for computer skills including Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, website management software, and social media
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

  • Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
  • Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field
  • Prior experience with: SAP, CAS, ORAS, Contract Management, Rec Trac
