About The Position

In this role, you will lead a team aligned to Ads measurement and YouTube that's focused on applying business intelligence, data engineering, and data science to solve product-to-market challenges. You will align with commercial leaders of Ads products to understand data and operational challenges and needs, develop a plan to address, and work with your team to execute and deliver. On an ongoing basis, you will design, implement, and maintain Global Business Operations (GBO) product OKRs, set eligibility requirements for Large Customer Sales (LCS) product recommendations, and support data resources embedded in Ads, GBO, and Finance workflows. Additionally, you will develop and evolve new work to accelerate GBO, including efforts to understand product maturity, recommend future investments to advertisers, and automate and otherwise streamline Go-to-Market (GTM) workflows.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 14 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
  • 14 years of experience in SQL and Data Visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
  • 7 years of experience of leading and managing individual contributors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an ad sales, ad support, finance, data science, or strategy and operations role.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager, Ad Manager, or Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of any programming language.

Responsibilities

  • Manage partner relationships to plan and allocate work that accelerates Google's Global Business Organization (GBO) and GTM's product-related Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Drive Ads feature adoption by developing scalable, shareable sales tools, dashboards, data, and programs.
  • Synthesize advertiser data and conduct analyses to deliver insights and actionable recommendations that scale to sellers or support product and sales leadership decision-making.
  • Define and prioritize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive key global initiatives that will be used by regions, countries, and sales pods in all sales channels.
  • Be a strategic thought partner to commercial leaders of Ads products.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
