About The Position

Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to join our Summer 2026 Rising Talent Program in Indianapolis. This role will report directly to the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. The Business Intelligence Intern is responsible for gathering data, analyzing the business challenges alongside subject matter experts, and driving evidence-based decision-making that will help design a new process. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics or Data Science with anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 through Spring 2029
  • Availability to work full-time, onsite, 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks (May-August 2026)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL
  • Professional communication skills, especially in communicating technical findings to a non-technical audience
  • Flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills

  • Experience creating Power BI reports
  • Experience analyzing financial data
  • Possess creative problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members on projects
  • Comfortable with asking questions when needed while doing self-guided work
