Our 12-week Internship Program provides an invaluable hands-on experience for those who want to work alongside a team that values results, enjoyment ( really – we love to work hard, play hard ) and learning. Forget about coffee runs – our Interns learn the ins and outs of their area of specialization and enjoy representing the company in challenging enterprise-wide projects and meaningful assignments to gain the knowledge, experience and training you will need to determine if your career choice is the right fit for you. We provide Interns with the opportunity to learn and develop new skills while gaining a deeper understanding of concepts through immersive application. Working closely with their program managers, Interns explore their career field of interest, acquire new skills, and develop transferrable skills. Each Intern reports to a Core-Mark leader who provides hands-on training, oversight, and mentorship. We are looking for well-rounded individuals who have demonstrated not only outstanding academic achievement, but aptitude for leadership, teamwork, analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills and sincere interest to pursue a career in their area of expertise. Internship Program Dates: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Requirement to able to work in-office 5 days per week.

Requirements

Must be an undergraduate or graduate student with expectations to graduate no later than May 2026.
Must be able to work in-office 5 days per week - residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, or willing to relocate.
Minimum 3.0 GPA, or higher is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI (or related software)

Nice To Haves

Previous internship in related field preferred
Major or field of study in business or data analytics is highly desired.
Professional work experience with SQL or Power BI is highly desired
Experience with Power Apps and/or Power Automate, a plus
Understanding of basic business concepts and agile project management methodology
Aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and reporting tools
Ability to provide a high level of service to business partners
Detail oriented and highly organized
Takes ownership for all assigned areas of responsibility
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Developing, designing, and maintaining databases and dashboards for the organization through Microsoft’s Power BI.
Maintain and improve existing BI applications, and create new apps to meet business needs
Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Resolve database related incidents as well as requests
Performs other related duties as assigned
