Position Summary: We are seeking a data-savvy professional who bridges business and technology to deliver data-driven solutions and actionable insights. This individual understands business strategy, defines logical data structures, and collaborates with stakeholders across business, analytics, development, and architecture to implement impactful data assets. Ideal candidates communicate clearly with both technical and business teams and are skilled in translating business needs into data solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data-centric roles (analyst, developer, architect, consultant)
  • Working Python Notebook knowledge with Python in a Snowflake environment strongly preferred (last mile development)
  • Degree in a technical or business field; combination of both is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Data Platforms (Snowflake, Oracle, etc)
  • Strong understanding of data and business architecture, with P&C Insurance and Claims experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills across disciplines and comfortable presenting to executives and operational leaders.
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and business outcome focused.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Experience functioning as or closely supporting an Agile Product Owner, including backlog management, prioritization, and working with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Data Modeling a plus
  • Strong understanding of data and business architecture, with P&C Insurance and Claims experience preferred.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on business data in projects and transformations.
  • Create and maintain focused data assets (e.g., marts, reporting layers).
  • Support data analysis by translating analytical needs into data requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technology teams.
  • Evaluate results to ensure solutions drive business value.
