About The Position

The Business HR Partner works under the supervision of more senior Business HR staff to proactively deliver Human Resources support in a wide variety of HR disciplines. Works in partnership with HR COEs to support the business and deliver solutions resulting in increased employee and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field, OR if no degree a minimum of four years of related HR Experience.
  • Experience: Two years of related HR experience (in addition to any years of experience identified above).
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in Human Resources, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Sr Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), etc. is preferred.
  • E xperience in applying technology-enabled solutions to enhance HR processes and improve service delivery to business units.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest business trends, tools, and techniques through networking with external and internal groups and monitoring the business environment, etc.
  • Some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the supervision of more senior Business HR staff to provide support to the business to address business problems.
  • Ensures consulting is in alignment with BHR Manager of business unit.
  • Obtains and maintains an understanding of business unit partners and maintains a close accessible relationship with them.
  • Develops credible and trusting relationships with leaders, managers, and employees, and assumes key role as HR advisor in solving talent issues, typically supporting mid-level and front-line leadership.
  • Analyze and prepare HR, workforce, and organizational data to support strategic talent.
  • Assists with the development of reports, dashboards, and presentations to monitor: workforce trends, organizational performance and talent movement and efficiency.
  • Support the business by organizing and facilitating talent reviews, culture action planning, performance and compensation calibrations and team building exercises.
  • Support work associated with creating and updating job descriptions, responding to escalated issues from the ESC, working through organizational design and restructuring activities and coaching and developing leaders that is not directly related to ER case work.
  • Prepare reports and presentations upon direction of BHR Manager or Director
  • Partner with Business HR leaders and Compensation in review and analysis of pay compression issues and/or review of compensation as compared the market.
  • Works collaboratively with other HR COEs and the organization to solve business problems and execute on talent strategy.
  • Identifies and shares best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Assists with HR special projects and cross-functional activities as needed and assigned.
