As a Business Experience & Planning Specialist Sr within PNC's Strategy and Planning organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Denver, CO. The Business Experience & Planning Specialist Sr on the CLLO Strategic Initiatives team supports disciplined execution of enterprise priorities by translating business strategy into clear, actionable requirements. This role partners closely with Strategy Leads, Operations SMEs, and cross‑functional stakeholders to assess current state processes, identify gaps and pain points, and define high‑level future‑state business requirements. Responsibilities include facilitating intake, discovery, and working sessions; documenting and refining requirements and operational impacts; responding to delivery, release, and change partners on business intent and scope; and maintaining working artifacts that reflect decisions, risks, and dependencies. This specialist conducts end‑to‑end impact analysis across people, process, technology, risk, and controls; supports current‑state and future‑state assessments; proactively identifies execution risks and dependencies; and ensures alignment across multiple initiatives. This role also maintains concise, current documentation, prepares business‑focused updates for leadership and governance forums, and provides governance and readiness support as needed to enable successful implementation. This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • Certifications are often desired.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Supports one or more line of business initiatives to understand, analyze, develop and implement key line of business solutions that will drive business objectives.

  • Works with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy.
  • Serves as subject matter resource and advocate that understands and implements best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives.
