About The Position

Position Summary: The Business Development Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving growth for the company’s foundation repair services. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with builders, engineers, real estate professionals, property managers, and homeowners to expand market share and increase revenue. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, goal-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of construction or foundation repair sales.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (construction or foundation industry preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction, particularly foundation systems, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong drive to achieve sales goals.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (field travel required).
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of outside sales experience; foundation, construction, or home improvement industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Background in commercial real estate is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residential and commercial clients, including real estate agents, property managers, and general contractors.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations and inspections to understand customer needs and propose tailored foundation repair solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project handoffs from sales to operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM software.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Represent the company at community events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market trends and opportunities for service improvement.
