About The Position

Job Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates sales strategy to new diverse markets. Leads, coaches, and mentors a team of individuals. Directly and regularly consults with key accounts at an executive level. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements: Identifies adjacent categories / markets to pursue for exponential growth Gathers market intelligence about competitive environment, market shifts, new product development, market trends, and differentiators that may impact value or performance Develops go-to-market strategies Implements distribution channels (direct, 3rd party partnerships, etc.) Aligns with Byrne Research & Development and Engineering on new product development activities for new markets Deploys promotional marketing strategy in conjunction with Byrne marketing Manages sales team, including three direct reports Coaches and mentors team to achieve sales objectives Travels regularly to develop and maintain relationships with customers in order to align on sales strategy and build relationships Leverage sales force automation tools to drive visibility in new markets and repeat purchases Develop budgets and strategies to achieve objectives Helps position Byrne as the industry expert to our customers Other duties as assigned Skills & Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in a manufactured products industry Proficiency in ACTION SELLING SALES METHODOLOGY or similar sales methodology Experience interacting directly with customers at an executive level Strong internal and external personal interaction skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lead level cross-functional teams Ability to foster a collaborative environment while keeping team members on task Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time Strong work ethic and personal accountability Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Physical Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in a manufactured products industry
