About The Position

At Spaceworx Inc., we are a mission-driven team designing and manufacturing innovative modular solutions right here in Laurel, Maryland. We believe that nursing mothers deserve a discreet, comfortable, and dignified privacy for pumping at work or in public settings, away from the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for someone who shares this deep passion to help us bring these solutions to corporations, governments and public spaces across the country. As our Business Development Specialist, you are the energetic face of the MOMSPACE ™ brand. You will focus on opening doors, building relationships, and creating initial opportunities.

Requirements

  • Dynamic & Energetic: You bring positive energy into a room (or a Zoom call). You have a magnetic personality that gets people excited about our mission.
  • Deeply Passionate: You genuinely care about helping nursing moms. You understand the "why" behind what we do.
  • Tech-Savvy & Disciplined: You are comfortable navigating modern software. Experience with Odoo, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM platforms is essential. You understand that data entry and tracking KPIs are the backbone of sales success.
  • Presentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high-impact, professional presentations and virtual product demonstrations to varied audiences (e.g., architects, C-suite executives).
  • Product/Technical Acumen: Ability to quickly learn and articulate the technical specifications and compliance requirements related to modular architectural solutions.
  • Collaborative: You enjoy winning as a team and appreciate the support of the internal sales staff.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful B2B Business Development experience, with a proven track record in cold calling, strategic prospecting, and generating qualified opportunities.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel (somewhat) domestically for trade shows, client meetings, and A&D firm visits.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience selling to Enterprise-level corporations (e.g., HR, Facilities, DEI departments) or selling to the Architecture & Design (A&D) community is highly preferred.
