About The Position

Rapids is South Florida’s largest waterpark, featuring more than 40 attractions on 35 acres near beautiful West Palm Beach. We are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand group business outreach and improve our revenue initiatives. This role is tasked with growing our group client base through strategic outbound sales cadence processes, cold calls and emails, digital presentations and meetings as well as social media outreach. Resulting in growing our group sales business lead generation capabilities using specific engagement tools and leading attendance growth while supporting business initiatives at South Florida’s Largest Waterpark!

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience working in a performance or quota-driven sales environment.
  • Experience conducting outbound outreach, including cold calling and emailing as well as social media communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence prospects.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines and goals.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of business-related software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point experience required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal, drug, alcohol, and social security background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience using HighLevel CRM or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms preferred.
  • Experience within the theme park, entertainment or hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new group sales opportunities through outbound calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Generate pipeline growth by driving qualified leads with correspondence, meetings and appointments for Group Sales initiatives.
  • Execute daily outbound sales activity, including cold calls, targeted emails, and discovery conversations with prospective group organizers and decision makers.
  • Accurately maintain and manage prospect and account information within the CRM system.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Rapids Waterpark attractions, offerings, and group sales programs to effectively communicate to prospects.
  • Assist in Group and Marketing event coordination and execution as well as supporting cross-departmental projects and initiatives as needed to advance overall business goals.
  • Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to connect with key decision-makers and influence group attendance and revenue.
  • Track and report performance metrics such as outbound activity, meetings scheduled, and attendance or revenue influence using HighLevel CRM
  • Implement structured digital sales cadences with email marketing with a strong emphasis on outbound lead generation.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality CRM usage through daily data accuracy, communication, and process adherence within the HighLevel CRM platform.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the Rapids Waterpark team.
