About The Position

Zennify is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate pipeline growth and increase deal velocity across our Salesforce and Twilio practices. This role exists for one purpose: to create and advance qualified opportunities to the Proposal stage within our AI-driven sales motion. You will own outbound prospecting across Financial Services, Healthcare, Utilities, and other regulated industries, converting target accounts into qualified, research-backed opportunities that move cleanly into scoping and proposal. This is not a traditional “set meetings” BDR role. This role is measured by: Time to Proposal WIP Number of Proposal WIP opportunities created Pipeline growth contribution Reporting into the SVP, GTM, this role will work directly with Account Executives, Sales Solution Architects (SSA), and Principal Consultants to ensure clean stage progression and fast handoffs.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with measurable results tied to pipeline growth and bookings.
  • 2+ years experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role.
  • Higher education diploma or degree in sales, marketing, business or related field.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Twilio products and services.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Track record of fostering long-term client relationships through exceptional service delivery and post-sales support.
  • Proficiency leveraging AI in the development of your sales assets and outreach approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven success in selling SaaS solutions, particularly Salesforce or Twilio products.
  • Understanding of the full spectrum of services within the Salesforce ecosystem and the ability to articulate how these services address client needs.
  • Experience selling solutions or services to financial services organizations, demonstrating an understanding of their unique requirements and compliance considerations.
  • Exposure to Twilio, contact center, messaging, or CX solutions.
  • Familiarity with consultative sales cycles (90+ day cycles).
  • Experience working in matrix sales environments with solution architects and delivery leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Creation & Outbound Prospecting
  • Identify and target net-new and whitespace accounts aligned to defined ICPs.
  • Execute outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, partner channels, and event follow-up.
  • Build multi-threaded engagement strategies within target accounts.
  • Create urgency around business initiatives tied to Salesforce, data, AI, and Twilio use cases.
  • Own outbound activity targets and stage progression metrics.
  • Stage Advancement & Velocity Ownership
  • Advance qualified opportunities from Stage 1 (Lead Qualification) to Stage 4 (Proposal WIP).
  • Ensure opportunities entering Scoping and Proposal are clean, research-backed, and ICP-aligned.
  • Reduce rework by delivering high-quality account briefs and discovery inputs.
  • Maintain strict Salesforce hygiene and stage accuracy.
  • Track and report on time-to-proposal metrics.
  • Account Research & Insight Development
  • Develop one-page account briefs using research tools and internal GPT workflows.
  • Identify stakeholder maps, likely decision paths, and buying triggers.
  • Surface industry-specific challenges across Financial Services and regulated markets.
  • Provide Portfolio Leads with actionable context prior to scoping meetings.
  • Salesforce & Twilio Market Alignment
  • Develop working knowledge of Salesforce (FSC, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce) and Twilio (Flex, Messaging, CX use cases).
  • Articulate Zennify’s value proposition clearly in financial services and regulated industries.
  • Align prospect conversations to real use cases and measurable outcomes.
