We’re seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support growth across the construction and industrial film markets. This role is ideal for an early-career sales professional who already has foundational B2B or industry experience and is ready to take the next step in a growth-focused business development role. In this position, you will focus on prospecting, lead generation, account development support, and expanding market presence. You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders to identify new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and introduce Revolution’s innovative film solutions to distributors, contractors, OEMs, and industrial end-users. This role can be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and will require periodic visits to our Mesquite, TX facility, along with up to 30% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, inside sales, account management support, or a customer-facing role within construction materials, industrial products, manufacturing, plastics, or a related technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience prospecting, generating leads, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage new prospects and build professional relationships.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn product applications and material performance characteristics.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and maintaining disciplined pipeline tracking.
  • Self-starter mindset with a desire to grow into expanded territory or account ownership over time.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the region.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to flexible packaging, protective films, recycled plastics, geomembranes, or construction materials.
  • Experience supporting field sales teams or managing smaller accounts independently.
  • Familiarity with contractor networks, distribution channels, or industrial end-user markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of territory growth initiatives across Texas and neighboring regions.
  • Proactively identify, research, and qualify new prospects through outbound outreach, networking, industry research, and inbound inquiries.
  • Conduct discovery calls, schedule meetings, and help advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Build and nurture relationships with distributors, contractors, OEMs, and industrial end-users to drive market penetration.
  • Present product overviews and effectively communicate the performance, cost, and sustainability benefits of Revolution’s recycled and recyclable film solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce preferred), manage activity tracking, and support pipeline forecasting.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a strong and seamless customer experience.
  • Support trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to help identify expansion opportunities.
