About The Position

Quilt Software provides specialized point-of-sale (POS) software and credit card processing to independent specialty retailers across various retail industries. We help small businesses compete with larger chains by offering industry-specific software solutions We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This role offers a unique pathway for career development, beginning with a comprehensive ramp period focused on exposure to potential customers in a low-risk environment that gives you an opportunity to develop your skillset. During this time, you'll receive training and coaching to help you succeed, while we work together to identify the best fit for your skills within our larger business development team

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow prescribed processes and methodology
  • Interest in developing a career in sales; all account executives are internal promotions from the business development team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to warm and cold leads
  • Schedule qualified demos for Account Executives
  • Master our talk tracks, methodology, and objection handling techniques
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and follow our outbound motion
  • Collaborate with team members and sales leadership
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly activity and performance metrics
