We're expanding our go-to-market strategy and we're looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead the charge. This is a high-impact sales role for someone who loves the hunt, thrives on building relationships, and wants to help shape the foundation of a rapidly scaling outbound sales program.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of BDR or SDR experience in SaaS or technology sales.
  • Proven success in cold calling, outbound prospecting, and pipeline generation.
  • Excellent communication - confident, personable, and persuasive on the phone and online.
  • CRM and sales engagement tool proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, etc.).
  • A self-starter who loves solving problems, testing ideas, and turning insights into results.

  • Bonus points if you've helped build an outbound program or mentored other BDRs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline growth through strategic outbound prospecting - including cold calls, personalized emails, and social engagement.
  • Build and qualify leads using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Own your outreach - develop creative messaging sequences that spark interest and convert into high-quality meetings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Territory Managers, and the VP of Growth to fine-tune strategy and accelerate revenue.
  • Build the playbook. As Govineer's first BDR hire, you'll set the standard for future team members - and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.
