About The Position

About Assured is transforming the infrastructure of U.S. healthcare with intelligent automation. We’re building an AI-native system of action for provider operations - automating credentialing, licensing, and payer enrollment. These are some of the most painful, manual processes in healthcare, costing the system billions and delaying patient care. We’re backed by top Silicon Valley investors and trusted by leading health systems and provider groups. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-moving, elite team reimagining one of the most broken parts of healthcare - using cutting-edge AI in the real world, at scale. The Role We're looking for a BDR Manager who has walked the path. Someone who was great at the job before earning a leadership seat, and who knows exactly what it takes to build a team that consistently outperforms. This is a foundational hire. You'll build and own the outbound engine at a company with a strong product-market fit, a compelling narrative, and a market that is ready to be unlocked. The ideal person leads from the front, drives accountability through process, and takes genuine pride in developing BDRs into the next generation of Account Executives.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of Direct BDR or SDR management experience
  • Prior experience as a top-performing BDR or SDR before moving into management
  • Demonstrated track record of hiring, onboarding, and ramping BDR talent
  • Named BDR-to-AE promotions you drove, with the details to back it up
  • Experience building or meaningfully improving outbound process, sequencing, and activity frameworks
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • A clear and specific philosophy on what makes a great BDR and how to develop one
  • Multiple BDR-to-AE promotions across your management tenure
  • Built or improved outbound playbooks and activity cadences with measurable results
  • Consistent performance recognition in both IC and management roles
  • Experience at a health tech company or mission-driven startup

Responsibilities

  • Identify, hire, and onboard top BDR talent, building a team built to outperform
  • Develop and promote BDRs to Account Executive roles through structured coaching and career pathing
  • Own the rhythm of the team: standups, pipeline reviews, activity targets, and accountability
  • Build and refine outbound process, messaging frameworks, sequencing, and objection handling
  • Use data to identify what's working, where to intervene, and how to improve the pipeline
  • Partner closely with AE leadership and cross-functional teams to align on pipeline quality and promotion readiness

Benefits

  • Sell something that matters - Your work directly accelerates patient access to care.
  • High-agency culture - Collaborate with operators, engineers, and product leaders who move fast.
  • Massive growth opportunity - Competitive base, uncapped commission, and equity upside.
  • Trusted customers - Work with leading provider groups and health systems.
  • Meaningful mission - Help fix the operational backbone of U.S. healthcare.
